I earned my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa in Italy. Subsequently, I spent nearly one year at Texas A&M University as a Visiting Research Scholar, where I started my work in the field of cardiovascular biomechanics under the supervision of Professon Jay D. Humphrey. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate in the Continuum Biomechanics Lab at Yale University.
